Acid Pump Truck

The acidizing spread on this truck is built around a centrifugal charge pump that moves 1000 m3/h at 45 m of head, controlled either at the panel or from a 30 m wired remote. That high-flow feed supplies the high-pressure acidizing side of the unit, where wetted parts - fluid ends, valves and manifold - are cast in acid-resistant alloy so gelled and retarded acid can be injected without the corrosion leakage that ordinary service pumps see. The same truck handles matrix acidizing, acid-fracturing placement and squeeze or circulation flushing, then a fresh-water flush routine clears the lines after the job. Mounted on an off-road chassis, it drives between wells as one load rather than being rigged from modules on location, which suits scattered cluster-well stimulation and old-workover rehab programs.

Core advantages

Designed around the operating requirement.

1000 m3/h charge pump at 45 m head

The on-board centrifugal pump is rated for 1000 m3/h against a 45 m head, sized to feed the acidizing high-pressure circuit fast enough that injection rate does not stall while the blend changes. A single pump covers both suction charging and circulation duties, so no external priming unit is called for on location.

Acid-resistant wetted-end alloy

Fluid ends, plungers, valve seats and the high-pressure manifold are machined from corrosion-resistant alloy rather than standard carbon steel, the choice that lets the truck take gelled acid, retarded acid and additive treatments without pitting or seal failure. The post-job fresh-water flush is built into the operating procedure to keep that alloy surface clean between jobs.

Local panel or 30 m wired remote

Operation is run from the on-board control panel, or handed to a 30 m wired remote so the operator can stand at the wellhead and watch returns while adjusting rate. That split matters on acid jobs, where pressure and rate have to be trimmed the moment the break-down response shows in the tubing.

Matrix acidizing and acid-fracturing placement

Beyond acid injection the unit does near-wellbore scale dissolution, squeeze treatment and circulating flushing, which makes it a single asset for stimulation, damage removal and wellbore cleanup rather than a one-fluid tool. It can also work in parallel with sister units on a multi-well batch program.

Self-contained off-road deployment

Power, pumping, acid-proof manifold and control cabinet ride on one off-road chassis, so the truck arrives, connects two hoses and starts pumping instead of waiting for module assembly. Weight is balanced for road transit between scattered desert, Gobi and plateau sites.

Traceable injection record

The control platform logs injection pressure, rate and pumped volume as the job proceeds, then exports the record for the stimulation report. Closed-loop trim holds rate near target and guards against over-pressure when the formation breaks down.

Application

Where this equipment is used.

  • Matrix acidizing and acid-fracturing placement where the 1000 m³/h centrifugal charge pump at 45 m head feeds the high-pressure side continuously.
  • Squeeze and circulation flushing with gelled or retarded acid, using acid-resistant alloy wetted parts to avoid corrosion leakage.
  • Standalone acid jobs on wells where a dedicated acidizing spread replaces a general-purpose pump.
  • Rapid redeployment across scattered well sites on the truck-mounted chassis.
  • Flowback and cleanup circulation after acid treatment using the same centrifugal loop.

Configuration

Options for a matched equipment scope.

Available configurations can be matched to the equipment model, operating conditions and project requirements.

  • Flow and head: confirm the 1000 m³/h / 45 m charge rating against the planned acidizing rate.
  • Control: panel or 30 m wired remote operation selected against the site layout.
  • Wetted parts: acid-resistant alloy fluid ends, valves and manifold are standard; material grades can be upgraded for specific acid systems.
  • Mixing and feed: suction and recirculation arrangement matched to the blender and tank set on location.
  • Winter and heat provisions on Acid Pump Truck: low-temperature start, heat preservation and coating matched to the region.
  • Documentation for Acid Pump Truck: manuals, factory test report and first-period spares included; commissioning and operator training arranged.
Buyer questions

Frequently asked about this equipment.

The acid pump truck questions that matter most are pressure, displacement and acidizing service scope.

What is an Acid Pump Truck used for in oilfield?

The Acid Pump Truck is a mobile high-pressure pumping unit dedicated for oil-gas well acidizing operations. It injects various acid fluids into target formations to dissolve plugging materials, remove formation damage and restore reservoir permeability, so as to boost well output. It also supports well flushing, squeeze treatment and pressure-test auxiliary jobs.

Why is acid-resistant material critical for this equipment?

The pumping media includes corrosive gelled acid, retarded acid and other acidizing fluids. Special acid-resistant alloy for pump fluid ends, plungers and manifolds prevents chemical corrosion and leakage, securing equipment service life and construction safety during acid treatment jobs.

Can the Acid Pump Truck hold constant-pressure acid injection?

Yes. The hydraulic stepless drive trims pump speed against the downhole response, holding pressure and rate near the set point while the formation takes fluid and guarding against over-pressure at breakdown. Injection pressure, rate and pumped volume are logged on the control platform for the stimulation record, so the acid volume per stage stays consistent across matrix acidizing and acid-fracturing placement.

Can this unit work continuously under extreme-climate oil-field environments?

The unit is rated for −40 ℃ to +55 ℃ ambient duty. Optional low-temperature startup, thermal-preservation and sand-proof packages support year-round operation on plateau, desert and Gobi leases; state the site climate at order time so the cold-start and dust specification is matched.

Can the Acid Pump Truck parameters be tailored to the well condition?

Yes. The configuration is settled against the well program before the order: pressure and displacement rating, acid-resistant material grade for the fluid ends, explosion-proof specification, metering tank and remote monitoring package are matched to well depth, formation conditions and local oilfield safety regulations, then written into the quotation and the factory test report.
