Series of Hydraulic Winch
The YC3 and YC5 hydraulic winches cover 3-tonne and 5-tonne line pulls, driven hydraulically at 14 MPa on the YC3 and 16 MPa on the YC5. Drum speed runs 50 r/min on the smaller unit and 60 r/min on the YC5, with about 75 m of 13 mm line on the YC3 drum and 100 m of 15 mm line on the YC5. A planetary reduction between hydraulic motor and drum gives a compact pull-rated package that mounts on the rig floor or auxiliary frame for cathead work, tool handling and auxiliary hoisting, and hydraulic control lets the pull be feathered rather than switched on and off.

The YC3 develops its pull on a 14 MPa circuit and the YC5 on 16 MPa, so the winch taps the rig existing hydraulic powerpack rather than demanding a separate engine and transmission.
50 to 60 r/min Drum Speed
Drum speed holds at 50 r/min on the YC3 and 60 r/min on the YC5, slow enough for controlled load lowering and fast enough to keep tripping-side tool handling off the critical path.
75 m and 100 m Drum Capacity
The YC3 drum carries about 75 m of 13 mm wireline and the YC5 about 100 m of 15 mm line, enough for repeated tool runs without re-spooling between lifts.
Planetary Reduction, Compact Frame
A planetary gear set sits between the hydraulic motor and the drum, multiplying motor torque into drum pull while keeping the winch short enough to bolt to an existing rig-floor skid or auxiliary boom.
Feathered Hydraulic Load Control
Hydraulic proportional control lets the operator ease the load in and out rather than engage a mechanical clutch, which reduces shock on the wireline and lets a suspended tool be set down gently on the tubing head.
